# Top 10 NDA Coaching Institutes in Rajasthan 2026: Courses, Fees, Facilities & Success Rate - **Status**: updated - **Category**: Coaching - **Author**: Akshay Kakkar - **Published**: August 30, 2026 12:28 PM - **Updated**: August 30, 2026 12:40 PM ## Article The National Defence Academy (NDA) exam, conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), is one of the most respected gateways into the Indian Armed Forces. Every year, lakhs of Class 11th and 12th students across India compete for a limited number of seats in the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA. Because the exam tests Mathematics and General Ability together with physical fitness and the SSB (Services Selection Board) personality assessment, self-study alone rarely gives aspirants the structured, disciplined preparation this exam demands. Rajasthan has become one of India's most important hubs for NDA and defence-exam coaching. Cities such as Sikar, Jaipur, Kota, Jodhpur, and Jhunjhunu are now home to dozens of academies that combine academic coaching with physical training, SSB preparation, and residential (hostel) facilities recreating the discipline of defence life long before a candidate ever reaches the Academy gates. ## Top 10 NDA Coaching Institutes in Rajasthan Quick Comparison **Rank** **Institute** **City** **Established / Known Since** **Hostel** 1 Prince NDA Academy (Prince Defence Academy) Sikar 2012 Yes 2 campuses 2 Alpha NDA Academy Sikar Reported 2015-2018 range Yes 3 ShoorVeer Defence Academy Jhunjhunu Recent, fast-growing Yes 4 Motion Defence Academy Jaipur Established Jaipur institute Day-scholar focus 5 Invicta Defence Academy Jaipur Established Jaipur institute Yes 6 Edge NDA Academy Kota Established Kota institute Yes 7 Major Kalshi Classes Kota Multi-city defence coaching chain Yes 8 Naveen Defence Academy Jodhpur Established Jodhpur institute Yes 9 Gurukul Foundation Defence Jhunjhunu Since 2010 (reported) Yes 10 Tagore Defence Academy Kuchaman City Established regional institute Yes ## Top 10 NDA Coaching Institutes in Rajasthan ### **1. Confirm the Course Fits Your Starting Point If you are starting after Class 10th, look for a Foundation Course that combines regular schooling with early NDA-pattern preparation, similar to the model followed by Prince NDA Academy and Alpha NDA Academy in Sikar. If you have already completed Class 12th, a focused 1-year written-exam-plus-SSB batch may be more time-efficient. ## 2. Check Whether SSB Preparation Is Truly Integrated Many institutes teach only the written exam and treat SSB coaching as a separate, later add-on. Ask specifically whether Psychology tests, Group Testing Officer (GTO) tasks, and mock personal interviews are built into the main course or charged and scheduled separately. ## 3. Visit the Hostel Before You Commit If you are relocating for coaching, insist on seeing the actual hostel rooms, mess facility, and washrooms in person or via a live video call not just the promotional photographs on a website. Ask about the student-to-room ratio, meal quality, and daily physical training schedule. ## 4. Ask for Batch-Wise Selection Data, Not Just Totals A large cumulative selection number sounds impressive, but it is more useful to ask how many students were selected from the most recent one or two batches, and out of how many total enrolled students in that batch. This gives a clearer sense of a realistic, current success rate rather than a decade-old aggregate. ## 5. Compare the Full Cost, Not Just the Headline Fee Course fee, hostel fee, mess charges, study material, and SSB coaching are sometimes bundled and sometimes billed separately. Request a complete, itemised cost sheet in writing before making any payment. ## 6. Consider Distance and Travel for Parents Sikar, Jaipur, Kota, Jhunjhunu, and Jodhpur are all well-connected within Rajasthan, but travel time for parents visiting during breaks or emergencies is a practical factor worth weighing, especially for younger Class 10th-entry students. ## Conclusion Rajasthan's NDA coaching ecosystem has matured considerably, giving aspirants genuine choice from large, decade-old residential academies like Prince NDA Academy in Sikar, to focused city-based institutes in Jaipur, Kota, Jhunjhunu, and Jodhpur. There is no single "correct" choice for every student: the right institute depends on your class/starting point, budget, need for hostel accommodation, and how much emphasis you want on SSB and physical training alongside academics. Based on the combination of scale, a well-documented multi-year selection record, and dedicated residential infrastructure for defence training, Prince NDA Academy, Sikar, stands out as the top-ranked in [Best NDA institute in Rajasthan 2026](https://princedefence.com/) comparison. Whichever academy you shortlist, we strongly recommend visiting the campus in person, speaking to current or recent students, and requesting a clear, written fee and course breakdown before enrolling. ## FAQs **Which is the best defence coaching center in Rajasthan for NDA 2026?** For NDA 2026, Karni Defence Academy in Jaipur and Rajasthan Defence Academy in Sikar are among the most recommended options. Karni offers a mature SSB-focused ecosystem, while RDA in Sikar combines NDA written coaching with daily physical training. The best choice depends on your budget, location, and whether you need hostel facilities. **What is the fee for defence coaching in Rajasthan in 2026?** Defence coaching fees in Rajasthan typically range from ₹12,000 for short Agniveer or Navy SSR courses to ₹1,80,000 or more for long NDA foundation programmes. Hostel costs add roughly ₹4,500 to ₹11,000 per month. Fees vary by institute, course duration, and whether physical training and test series are included. **Is Sikar a good city for NDA and defence coaching?** Yes. Sikar has become a strong choice for defence coaching because of its disciplined hostel culture, affordable living costs, and established coaching infrastructure. Institutes like Rajasthan Defence Academy and Prince Defence Academy offer NDA preparation alongside physical training, making Sikar suitable for serious outstation aspirants. **What exams do Rajasthan defence coaching institutes prepare students for?** Major Rajasthan defence coaching centers prepare students for NDA, CDS, SSB, Indian Navy AA/SSR/MR, Air Force X/Y Group, and Army Agniveer (GD, Clerk, Technical) recruitment. Always confirm that the batch you join matches your specific target exam, as syllabi and training methods differ significantly. **Do defence coaching institutes in Rajasthan provide hostel facilities?** Most leading defence coaching institutes in Rajasthan offer hostel and mess facilities, especially in Sikar, Jaipur, Kota, and Jodhpur. Monthly hostel fees generally range from ₹4,500 to ₹11,000 depending on city, room type, and meal plan. Parents should inspect hostel safety, discipline rules, and proximity to the coaching center before enrolling. **How important is physical training in defence exam coaching?** Physical training is critical for Agniveer rallies, Navy SSR/MR, and Air Force entries, and it supports overall readiness for SSB. Institutes that integrate daily running, strength exercises, and mock physical tests significantly improve a student's chances of clearing fitness stages. Written coaching alone is insufficient for most non-officer entries. **What is the difference between NDA coaching and Agniveer coaching?** NDA coaching focuses on UPSC-level mathematics, English, general ability, and later SSB preparation for officer entry after Class 12. Agniveer coaching emphasises rally fitness, shorter written syllabi, medical standards, and merit-list scoring. The course duration, fees, and training intensity differ, so choose a batch designed for your exact exam. **When do new batches start at defence coaching centers in Rajasthan?** Batch schedules vary by institute. Karni Defence Academy typically starts batches every two to three months, Falcon every two months, Pai Defence Academy offers monthly batches, and Rajasthan Defence Academy often begins quarterly cycles. Contact institutes directly for exact 2026 batch dates and seat availability. **Can Hindi-medium students succeed in defence coaching in Rajasthan?** Yes. Many Rajasthan institutes, including Karni Defence Academy and Pai Defence Academy, offer English support tailored for Hindi-medium backgrounds—especially important for Navy MR, Agniveer Clerk, and NDA English sections. Daily vocabulary practice, reading habit, and institute-specific language modules make a measurable difference. **How should I verify defence coaching selection claims before admission?** Ask for recent selection lists with exam name, year, and stage cleared (written, physical, final merit, or SSB). Speak directly with selected students if possible. Cross-check Google reviews, visit the institute for a demo class, and compare results across multiple academies rather than relying on a single advertisement or social media post. - [Akshay Kakkar](https://www.sikarstudypoint.com/author/akshay-kakkar.md): Author - **Canonical HTML**: https://www.sikarstudypoint.com/news/top-10-nda-coaching-institutes-in-rajasthan-2026-courses-fees-facilities-success-rate - **Last updated**: Aug 30, 2026 - [Agent index](https://www.sikarstudypoint.com/llms.txt): llms.txt for this site
