Sikar has become a popular education hub in Rajasthan, and students from different parts of the state come here for competitive-exam and defence preparation. For NDA aspirants, however, selecting a coaching institute should not be based only on advertisements or claims of “100% selection.” Students should compare **faculty, course structure, mock tests, SSB preparation, physical training, hostel facilities, fees, batch size and independently verifiable results**. ## Why Sikar Has Become a Hub for NDA Coaching Sikar built its reputation over two decades as a coaching town for JEE and NEET, and that same ecosystem hostels, mess facilities, disciplined daily routines, and a large pool of teaching talent has been repurposed by several institutes for defence coaching. Multiple sources describe Sikar as a growing “defence hub,” pointing to lower living and coaching costs compared to Delhi or Kota, along with a competitive, exam-focused culture that many parents find reassuring for teenagers moving away from home for the first time. Because NDA preparation requires three very different things school-level academics (Maths, English, General Knowledge), physical fitness, and personality-based SSB interview training most Sikar institutes now offer combined “foundation” programs that run alongside Class 11 and 12 schooling, plus shorter target batches for students who join after Class 12. ## Quick Comparison: NDA Coaching Institutes in Sikar 2026 **Institute** **Location (Sikar)** **Approx. Prince NDA Academy **Address:**Palwas Road, Sikar – 332001, Rajasthan **Contact:**+91 9610792222 / +91 9649769938 Prince NDA Academy markets itself as a residential NDA academy offering combined NDA foundation batches for Class 11 and 12 students, along with dedicated target batches and SSB interview training. Its faculty team is described as including retired defence personnel with SSB interviewing-panel experience. The academy also runs Prince CBSE School and Prince Defence Academy under a related education-group umbrella, which offer integrated schooling with NDA/CDS/AFCAT preparation and report having crossed 1,500+ selections across various defence services since 2011 (as stated by the group's own promotional material this figure has not been independently audited). **Reported fee range:**According to third-party comparison listings, the NDA Foundation program is priced around ₹78,000 to ₹1,04,000, though residential/hostel packages typically cost more once accommodation and food are added. Confirm the latest fee slab directly with the academy, as figures are revised each admission cycle. **Good to know:**User reviews on public directories for the wider Prince Education Hub campus are mixed several reviewers praised the discipline and values instilled, while others raised concerns about refund policies, classroom crowding, and hostel food quality. As with any hostel decision, we recommend an in-person campus visit and speaking to current students before enrolling. ### 2. Alpha Defence Academy (Alpha NDA Academy) **Address:**Piprali Road, Piprali Circle, Sikar – 332001, Rajasthan **Contact:**72400 40400 Alpha NDA Academy is a newer entrant that has grown quickly, describing itself as founded by IIM alumni and positioning itself around transparent, published fee slabs. It runs distinctly named batches ARJUNA (after Class 10), SPARTANS (after Class 12), BULLS EYE (with Class 12 schooling), plus a dedicated Girls NDA Coaching batch, SSB Interview Coaching, and CDS Coaching. **Reported fee range:**Published fee pages list the one-year NDA Foundation + CBSE + SSB program at roughly ₹95,000 (day scholar) or ₹2,40,000 (with hostel), plus a ₹20,000 CBSE school fee and ₹5,000 one-time registration fee. Other pages on the same site quote a broader ₹60,000–₹2,50,000 range depending on program and hostel choice, and a short 25-day intensive SSB-only program is also offered separately. **Good to know:**Alpha explicitly states hostel is optional, not compulsory, and offers merit-based scholarships for strong academic scorers. One third-party comparison site (AcademyCheck) placed Alpha at the top of its own 2026 shortlist citing written-exam clearance numbers again, this is a third-party marketing-style ranking, not government-audited data. ### 3. Navjeevan Defence Academy (NDA Sikar) Navjeevan Defence Academy, branded online as “NDA Sikar,” offers an NDA Foundation program for Class 11 and 12 students (RBSE and CBSE, English medium) plus a Sainik School and NDA Pre-Foundation programme for students in Classes 8–10. For students who have already finished Class 12, it runs dedicated preparation for Air Force, Navy, Army, NDA, and paramilitary forces (BSF, CRPF, Police), and is affiliated with Navjeevan Science College for a parallel [B.Sc](http://B.Sc). degree option useful for students who want a formal degree alongside defence-exam preparation. **Good to know:**The academy's own website claims the “highest selection ratio in Rajasthan”; treat this as a marketing claim and ask for a documented, roll-number-wise result list if selection rate is a deciding factor for you. ### 4. Rajasthan Defence Academy **Address:**Jaipur Road, Gokulpura, Sikar (in front of Sobhasariya Engineering College) Rajasthan Defence Academy covers NDA, CDS, Air Force, Navy, Army, Delhi Police, and paramilitary-forces preparation, with a stated focus on both academic coaching and physical training (it advertises GTO ground facilities used for SSB-style group task practice). The academy also offers standard schooling coaching for Classes 9 and 10 on the same campus, and separately runs a location listed as Rajasthan NDA Academy for foundation-level NDA batches. **Reported fee details:**A registration fee of ₹5,000 is charged for new admissions, inclusive of uniform, books, and bedding kit; course fees vary by program and are not uniformly published. A partial refund policy applies if admission is withdrawn within 15 days; after that window, fees are non-refundable. **Good to know:**Public directory reviews rate the school-side campus around 4.2/5, though ratings for coaching-specific outcomes are harder to verify separately from the schooling business. ### 5. Gurukripa Defence Academy Established in 2003, Gurukripa Defence Academy is one of the older defence-coaching brands referenced in Sikar coaching directories, though it also operates in other cities under the same name. It offers preparation for NDA, CDS, SSC, Navy, Air Force, and paramilitary and police exams, with claimed strengths in updated study material, mock testing, and hostel facilities. As with several institutes on this list, specific Sikar-branch fee figures are not published online, so you will need to contact the academy directly for a current quote. ### 6. APS NDA Academy **Address:**Veer Teja Colony, Jaipur–Jhunjhunu bypass, near Piprali Circle, Sikar – 332001 **Contact:**+91 7240071001 Founded in 2018 by Pawan Choudhary and Mahaveer Hudda, APS NDA Academy trains both boys and girls for NDA along with Navy, Air Force, UPSC, SSB, and spoken-English classes, and has run an associated schooling system for several years. It advertises daily doubt classes, weekly test series, and individual assessment records for each student. ### 7. Govindam Defence Academy Govindam Defence Academy positions itself as an institute for average and middle-class students who may not have had access to structured guidance earlier, covering NDA, Air Force, Navy, Army, Police, SSC, banking, and railway exam preparation. It runs staggered batch intakes through the year (for example, separate Class 11 and Class 12 foundation batches starting in March/April) and highlights a dedicated campus in Sikar. ### 8. Matrix High School NDA Program Matrix High School runs an NDA program alongside its regular CBSE schooling, and is often listed among Sikar's faster-growing defence-coaching options. Because it is primarily a school with an added NDA track, its published fee figures are school fee structures rather than a separate coaching fee one reported figure for Class 10 tuition is approximately ₹92,000 per year, plus a ₹3,000 registration fee for new admissions and possible additional charges for winter uniforms or direct admission. Confirm whether the NDA-specific coaching component is billed separately. ### 9. Sikar Defence Academy Sikar Defence Academy is referenced in some comparison articles as having built a name for itself in NDA coaching, with claimed emphasis on personality development and physical fitness alongside academics. Independent, verifiable details (exact address, current fee structure, and faculty list) are limited in public sources at the time of writing, so we recommend contacting the academy directly or verifying through a local visit before shortlisting it. ### 10. Vivekanand Defence Academy Vivekanand Defence Academy is described in local education-directory content as a well-reputed NDA coaching option in Sikar known for providing structured, quality education at what is described as a reasonable fee. As with several smaller institutes on this list, a detailed public fee breakdown was not available at the time of writing. ### 11. Aashirwad Defence Academy Aashirwad Defence Academy prepares students for NDA along with SSB, CDS, and AFCAT, and appears on general directory listings of Sikar's education institutes with a moderate public rating. It is a smaller, less-documented option compared to the larger residential academies on this list, so an in-person enquiry is advisable. ### 12. Shoorveer Defence Academy Jhunjhunu (Serves Sikar-Area Aspirants) **Address:**Wisdom City, Samaspur Road, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan – 333001 **Contact:**+91 7240372409 Shoorveer Defence Academy is physically based in neighbouring Jhunjhunu district rather than Sikar city itself, but is frequently listed in “NDA coaching in Sikar” searches because it actively serves students from Sikar and the surrounding region. It integrates CBSE Class 9–12 schooling with NDA preparation and has a specific program for girls, along with a multi-sport complex and mock-test labs. If campus location matters to you, confirm the commute or hostel arrangement before enrolling, since it is not located within Sikar city limits. ## Sikar vs. Kota vs. Delhi for NDA Coaching: A Fair Comparison **Factor** **Sikar** **Kota** **Delhi** Typical annual cost (residential) ₹1.8L – ₹2.5L Often higher, ₹2L – ₹3.5L+ Generally highest, especially for private hostels Coaching maturity for NDA specifically Growing, several institutes under 10 years old Longer-established ecosystem, though historically JEE/NEET-focused Mixed some very old defence-coaching names alongside newer ones Living cost & lifestyle Smaller town, lower cost, quieter environment Larger student town, moderate cost, big peer network Higher cost of living, more distractions, wider exposure Best suited for Budget-conscious families wanting a disciplined, low-distraction environment Families wanting an established big-town coaching culture Families prioritising access to SSB coaching centres, exposure, and bigger alumni networks ## Physical Fitness: The Part Coaching Websites Often Underplay Written exam coaching and SSB personality training get most of the marketing attention, but NDA candidates are also assessed on defined physical and medical standards set by UPSC and the Services Selection Board, and cadets undergo rigorous physical training once selected. A coaching institute that treats fitness as an afterthought is doing your child a disservice, regardless of how strong its classroom teaching is. ● Ask how many days a week structured physical training (running, basic drills, obstacle-style exercises) is actually scheduled not just mentioned as a facility. ● Ask whether physical training is supervised by someone with a defence or sports-science background, or left informal. ● For hostel students, ask about diet and nutrition planning, since physical performance is closely tied to food quality a recurring complaint in several Sikar hostel reviews referenced earlier in this guide. ● Confirm current medical and physical eligibility standards directly from the official UPSC/NDA notification each cycle, since these are revised periodically and no coaching institute's website should be treated as the final authority on them. ## Average Fee Structure for NDA Coaching in Sikar Based on the published figures gathered above and general comparison-site estimates, here is a realistic picture of what NDA coaching in Sikar tends to cost for the 2026 admission cycle. Treat these as planning ranges, not fixed quotes. **Fee Component** **Day Scholar (Approx.)** **Residential / Hostel (Approx.)** **Notes** NDA Foundation (11th–12th, 1-year academic program) ₹60,000 – ₹95,000 ₹1,80,000 – ₹2,50,000 Includes tuition; hostel figure usually adds boarding, food, and supervision Short-term / Target NDA batch (after 12th) ₹40,000 – ₹1,00,000 ₹1,00,000 – ₹2,00,000 Duration and depth of coverage varies widely by institute SSB Interview–only program ₹15,000 – ₹40,000 Higher if residential Typically a short, intensive 15–30 day program One-time registration/admission fee ₹3,000 – ₹5,000 Same Often includes uniform, books, or a welcome kit ## Understanding the NDA Exam Before You Choose a Coaching A coaching institute is only as useful as your understanding of what you are actually preparing for. The National Defence Academy (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for entry into the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA, as well as the Indian Naval Academy. ### Eligibility (General Overview) ● Unmarried candidates who have passed Class 12 (or are appearing) from a recognised board. ● Specific subject requirements (Physics and Mathematics) apply for Air Force and Navy wing applicants; Army wing has more flexible subject requirements. ● Age and physical/medical standards are prescribed separately by UPSC and the Services Selection Board (SSB) each notification cycle. ### Selection Stages ● Stage 1 – Written Exam: Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT), conducted by UPSC. ● Stage 2 – SSB Interview: A multi-day process covering psychological tests, group tasks (GTO), and a personal interview, conducted at designated Services Selection Boards. ● Stage 3 – Medical Examination: A detailed medical fitness assessment for candidates who clear the SSB. ● Final Merit: Based on combined written + SSB marks, followed by the medical clearance and merit-based allocation. ## How to Actually Evaluate an Institute's “Selection Rate” Nearly every institute covered in this guide claims to have the “highest selection” or “best results” in Sikar or Rajasthan. Mathematically, they cannot all be correct simultaneously, which tells you these are marketing statements rather than audited statistics. UPSC does not publish institute-wise selection data, and no independent, third-party body currently verifies coaching-institute result claims for NDA in Sikar. Instead of accepting a percentage figure at face value, ask each shortlisted institute for the following, in writing: ● A roll-number-wise list of selected students for the last 2–3 NDA cycles (not just photographs of a few toppers). ● How many total students appeared for the written exam from that batch, so you can calculate a real ratio yourself. ● Whether the “selections” quoted include NDA only, or are combined across NDA, CDS, AFCAT, Air Force, Navy, and police exams (a common way selection numbers get inflated). ● Whether hostel and hygiene facilities, faculty CVs, and fee-refund policy can be shown/verified during an actual campus visit. An institute that is confident in its results will usually provide this data without hesitation. Reluctance to share verifiable, batch-wise numbers is itself useful information. ## A Practical Checklist Before You Pay Any Admission Fee ● Visit the campus in person if possible photos and website claims can be outdated or unrepresentative. ● Ask to sit in on one live class and one physical training session before enrolling. ● Get the complete fee structure in writing, including registration, tuition, hostel, mess, uniform, and study-material charges separately. ● Clarify the refund policy in writing before making any payment several Sikar academies have specific, time-bound refund windows. ● Check faculty credentials independently where claims involve “retired defence officers” or “SSB panel members.” ● Read reviews on at least two independent platforms (e.g., Justdial, Google) in addition to the institute's own testimonials. ● Confirm whether SSB interview training and physical fitness sessions are included in the base fee or charged separately. ● If your child is a girl, confirm separate hostel wings, female staff/wardens, and safety measures explicitly not all institutes offer this. ## Scholarships, Discounts, and Documents Needed for Admission ### Scholarships and Fee Concessions Several Sikar institutes, including Alpha Defence Academy, mention merit-based scholarships or fee reductions for students with strong Class 10 board results, along with occasional sibling or early-admission discounts. These are not standardised across the industry, so always ask specifically: is the scholarship a one-time discount, or does it apply every year of a multi-year program? Get any scholarship commitment in writing, ideally on the fee receipt itself, not just a verbal assurance from an admissions counsellor. ### Typical Documents Required at Admission ● Class 10 and/or Class 12 marksheets (as applicable) and school transfer certificate ● Aadhaar card or other government-issued ID for the student ● Passport-size photographs (institutes typically ask for several) ● Address proof and parent/guardian ID for hostel admissions ● Medical fitness certificate or basic health declaration, especially for hostel and physical-training enrolment ● Signed fee-structure and refund-policy acknowledgment read this fully before signing ## Conclusion Sikar now hosts a genuinely wide range of NDA coaching options from established residential academies like Prince NDA Academy, Rajasthan Defence Academy, and Navjeevan Defence Academy, to newer, fast-growing names like Alpha Defence Academy, alongside smaller specialised institutes such as Gurukripa Defence Academy, APS NDA Academy, Govindam Defence Academy, Matrix High School's NDA program, Sikar Defence Academy, Vivekanand Defence Academy, Aashirwad Defence Academy, and the nearby Shoorveer Defence Academy in Jhunjhunu. ## FAQs **Where is Prince NDA Academy Sikar located?** Prince NDA Academy is located on Palwas Road, Sikar, Rajasthan 332042.
